City Council is in agreement; they do not want a Grand Saline Creek dam.
The Grand Saline City Council unanimously voted to rescind their 2010 support for a proposed dam on Grand Saline Creek.
Over 100 residents attended a special meeting, with around 20 speaking against the dam, citing concerns like loss of farmland, property devaluation, and impact on resources like the salt dome.
