A huge step was taken against the Grand Saline Creek Reservoir on Thursday as a local water planning group unanimously voted against the project.

The board will also send a letter opposing the project to the TCEQ, which has the final say. Commissioner Mitch Curtis called it a “Pandora’s box,” while Rep. Brent Money pushes to limit cities’ eminent domain powers.
